View Camera Feed

Camera Feed

To access the feed from a camera, click on the camera icon. This opens the camera view.

This view provides access to still images and video streams from the camera. If both still image and streams are available for a given camera, the system defaults to showing the still image. Still images refresh automatically.

To reduce network traffic and/or bandwidth usage on the camera, the feed may be configured with an expiry time. The remaining time is shown in the bottom right corner of the camera view. After this time has elapsed, the camera feed will be turned off. If you still need to view the camera when it is nearing the end of this period, click on the timer to reset it.

To switch from still images to streaming video, click the icon on the camera view menu. The menu is automatically displayed when you hover your mouse over the bottom right portion of the camera view.

To resize the camera view, click and drag on the three lines at the bottom right of the view. To expand it to full screen, click on the expand/arrows icon in the top right.

Video Controls

Click on the Joystick icon . Adjust the camera view by clicking arrows. Operator can zoom in and zoom out but clicking the + and – icons. Camera view and be moved and adjusted by clicking continuously for 5 second on the camera view screen.

Playback

The system may be configured to store recently captured snapshots from a camera and support playback of those images to view what happened recently at the camera's location.

To playback recently captured snapshots, click the icon on the Camera view. The video can be played, paused, rewound and fast-forwarded and includes a progress bar that can be used to navigate to different times in the stream.

Send to Multi Viewer

The system can be deployed with a companion web-based stream multi-viewer.

To send a camera from the ATMS to your multi-viewer instance, click on the share icon in the camera view and select Send to Multiviewer.

Send to Personal Video Wall

The system can be deployed with a companion Personal Video Wall windows application that can be used to view multiple camera streams simultaneously.

To send a camera from the ATMS to your Personal Video Wal, click on the share icon on Camera feed window and click Send to Personal Video Wall.

Presets

Set Preset from Camera

Left click on the camera icon on map and hover over star icon to open Presets. If the selected Camera has any presets configured, they will displayed.

note

Make sure Preset checkbox is selected under Capabilities Configuration for the camera.

Navigate the camera to defined location and click + icon to add preset. Enter the name of the preset and click Save. Preset will get added to the list.

Preset Groups

Right click CCTV icon on action panel and select Preset Groups. Click Add Preset Group.

Select the existing presets from the Preset Name dropdown. Search or select the cameras to assign to the preset. It will throw error if preset name is not defined for selected cameras. Click Add Preset Group button.

In order to set cameras to the selected preset name, click button. All the cameras added to the group will point to the selected preset.

Camera Preset Schedule

Click on the gear icon in navigation panel and select Camera Schedule. Click Add Schedule button.

Click icon to add schedule period. Enter required details and assign Default Preset. Select Cameras from table view or map view. Enter Schedule Details and click Create.

Camera will move to desired preset as per the schedule set.
